unwell angel

Had a great sleep in and could've slept longer but Josh was getting dropped off  early so made myself a coffee and caught up on some facebook and emails before he got home.

Not too long after Jacinta called and wanted to see if Jacob could come around and show Josh his new bike, so we organized for them all to come over after lunch. I also arranged for her to pick Lilly up from Nicole’s. When I rang Nicole to make sure that was ok she told me that Lilly had been up all night vomiting, not only that but Bella had jumped out of her closet and had hurt both of her arms. Damian headed off to help his Dad set up their vegie patch for the day.

Jacinta and the gang rocked up about 1pm and the boys were off riding their bikes and poor Lilly crashed and slept on the couch for a few hours. It didnt take long for the kids to get too hot and they headed for the pool. Jacinta, Craig and I just sat round and gas bagged for the arvo, it was lovely sitting up on the verandah. They headed home about 5pm seeing as the kids had school the next day.

I got myself organized and was able to have a quiet night watching movies.

not long now baby

Ohh I woke up feeling quite seedy from last night! The kids were meant to go to little aths this morning however I couldn't drag myself out of bed before 9am! I headed straight to Nicole’s to pick up Josh & Lilly but Bella wanted Lilly to stay again, so I told Nicole I would drop off more clothes later that afternoon. While I was there I got a call from one of the Mum’s at school saying it was her son’s bday party today and was wondering if Joshua was coming. Typical me had noted the dates down wrong but let her know he wouldn't miss it for the world and that we would be there soon.

Josh & I headed straight home to get him organized for the day and headed to the birthday party, they asked if Josh was allowed to stay the night and of course he said yes! I couldn't believe that we were going to be kid free for the night, we didn't even have any plans so we decided to have a quiet night at home.

I then had to race down the street to get items for Amanda’s baby shower as I was making spinach dip and egg sandwiches. I whipped most of it up and Jacinta messaged saying to come down to her place early so we could all go down together.

The afternoon was lovely and Amanda got showered with so many beautiful gifts, it was a shame about the wind but overall it was great.

I then popped into Nicole's and dropped off Lilly's clothes, headed out to see the ponies then was home for a nice quiet night in ahhh.

The day dragged on today as all I could keep thinking about was going out on the town with my friends and going to see Munster Terrace at my fav hang out … The Retronome Lounge

We got the kids organized to stay at their aunty Nikki’s as Damian kept changing his mind about coming out with us and at the last minute decided he would. So he dropped the kids off. He also had made us all his famous lamb shanks and ohhh they were so delicious!

We all headed down to the Retronome  and were so surprised by how busy it was. We soon learnt that there was a 21st party there and it really made the place come alive, the band was amazing and they are just as good as when I use to see them as a teen.

We had so much fun and couldn't believe how soon it was all over, last drinks were called just before 1am and before we knew it we were heading out to the car. Jeannie, Vjollca and I still wanted to party so we got Damian to drive us to the Rosebud pub, luckily we didn't get in as we were all pretty drunk and if we had’ve kept going I'm sure we would have really regretted it the next day!

We then dropped Jacinta and Craig off at home and had a quit chat before heading off to get the kids, we were knocking on the door and windows of Nicole's house but no one would answer so we headed home for bed.

Dancing girls

Another day of school for the kids which gave me a chance to catch up on the house work and emails etc.

Lillian was super excited when I picked her up from school as she had her first dancing lesson tonight and she was going to be able to see one her friends from kinder.

The dance class started at 4.30 and they were oh so cute learning the dance moves and putting it all together.

i want to go to school

Lilly has Wednesdays off for the first month at school while the teachers grade and asses the kids, we have our interview next week so I'm looking forward to seeing what Miss. M thinks about Lilly and how she thinks she will cope with her first year. Lilly was not impressed at all that she wasn't going to school and even got quite upset :( Josh was ready to go today and we were at school by 8.20am.

Lilly and I came home and prepared for another hot day. Lilly opted to colour in and I got scrapping done, this is yet another layout for the Scrap Girls January Jumpstart …

Before we knew it we had to head off and get Josh, he was already over at Libby’s so we got the ponies fed and headed home. Josh and Lilly headed straight for the pool. I made the most delish dinner (yep no photo again arrgghh!) Pork chops slow cooked in an apple syrup, and the apples were from our garden. I also made a roast potato bake with tomatoes. Damian made a nectarine tart oh it was just perfect to finish off our meal.

Lilly woke up feeling fine and ready for school, I was concerned about letting her go but she got upset when I said I think she should stay home. Josh however didn't want to get out of bed which is so not like him so I decided to keep him home.

I came home and chilled out with josh he wanted to watch movies so I got my washing done and also finished another page, I had started this a few weeks ago but struggled to finish it off so after a spark on inspiration I got it finished in no time. This LO was for the January Swap Crop over at Scrap Girls.

 

I picked Lilly up at 1pm and we came home to relax, Jacinta messaged and asked if they could come round for a dip and sip so I decided to have a nana nap before they got here. Damian told me that I slept through my alarm and I didn't get up until Jacinta and crew got here. We sat and chatted while the kids played in the pool. Damian then proceeds to tell me we have to go to his parents place  for Hayden’s and his Mum’s birthday. It was a rush from then on, Jacinta and crew headed home, we went out to feed ponies and were only 10mins late. We got to sing happy birthday and got to eat yummy cake, chatted to everyone for a good hour and then made our way home.

The kids are super excited about going back to school today, especially Lilly as its her very first day at school! She was up just after 6am tapping me on the shoulder saying come on Mum I have to get ready for school. Josh was really looking forward to being back in the same class as Toby, Sam and Jake. I was fully ready and organized until i get a phone call saying that someone has found our dog Sasha so I quickly bolted down to Rye to get her however I could not find the house and got totally confused. I headed home to find Mum, Nana and Ron there waiting for me, I was now behind and panicked we were going to be late but we got there just in time. Lilly walked straight in as if it were no different than yesterday and with a huge smile on her face I knew she was going to be fine and she was going to love it. She had a lot of kids in her class that she knew, Ryllie, Georgia, Tessa and Pakin so settling in should make it easier having some friends around. I didn't get upset but did feel so very proud of my little girl. I said my goodbyes to Mum, Nana and Ron and headed off to Jacinta’s.

Jacinta and I headed to Sorrento to have breakfast at Buckley’s Chance, its by far the best Pancake Parlour their food is divine. Jacinta ordered us the biggest breakfast ever and we both struggled to finish it but ohhh my it was good, and again I didn't get a photo of it ugh! We headed back to my place to go through my aquarium books as Jacinta is thinking of setting one up for Craig for his upcoming birthday.

I squeezed in an hour of cleaning and then headed off to get Lilly from school. I got to meet a few Mum’s while I was waiting and one seems just lovely, she has horses so instantly there was a talking point LOL

We headed home to relax and clean some more before I had to pick up Josh, they had a swim in the pool and then bang Lilly was on the couch complaining of a sore tummy, she was so agitated and then it happened the uncontrollable vomiting, boy oh boy was she sick. After an hour she had a wash and then a little drink of water, she fell asleep on the couch. Within 10mins Josh gets up and yep more uncontrollable vomiting. It took quite some time for Josh to go to sleep but he slept soundly which is just what he needed. Lilly however woke up about 3am and was bright as a  button, she was even hungry so I gave her some toast and she headed straight back to sleep, finally I was able to get some much needed rest.
